Responsibilities
Assist lead technicians with vehicle repairs by preparing and handling tools and materials efficiently.
Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic tasks such as sanding, buffing, and minor bodywork.
Support heavy lifting activities to move parts and damaged panels safely and effectively.
Help with the disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components during repair processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on the shop floor.
Follow safety protocols diligently when working with mechanical parts, tools, and equipment.
Assist with inventory management by documenting supplies used and requesting replacements as needed.
Qualifications
Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background is highly desirable but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive components is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the workday.
Strong interest in automotive repair, bodywork, or related technical fields.
Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward safety procedures.
Mechanic experience or related technical training is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
