Duties

- Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine necessary repairs and estimate timeframes.
- Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural alignment using a variety of hand tools and power tools.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure a smooth finish.
- Apply paint, finishes, and coatings with precision to match original vehicle color and texture.
- Conduct heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during repair processes and collaborate with team members for complex repairs.
- Maintain a clean,



organized workspace adhering to safety standards and quality control procedures.

Qualifications

- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand vehicle structures and systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, dollies, sanders, and pry bars.
- Experience operating power tools safely and effectively in an automotive setting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including bodywork techniques and refinishing processes.
- Mechanic experience is a plus, providing a broader understanding of vehicle systems beyond bodywork.
