As we enter our busiest season, we’re looking to bring on a dedicated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team and help ensure our clients receive the best care possible.
Job Overview:
As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between our customers and technicians. You’ll greet clients, understand their vehicle concerns, explain repair and maintenance options, and ensure a seamless, high-quality service experience from drop-off to pick-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally in-person and over the phone
- Listen to vehicle concerns and accurately document customer information
- Provide repair and maintenance recommendations based on vehicle history and technician inspections
- Prepare and present cost estimates, obtain customer approval for services
- Communicate effectively with technicians regarding repair timelines and updates
- Follow up with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service process
- Maintain clean and organized service drive and waiting area
- Adhere to company and industry safety standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive service writing or customer service (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable using point-of-sale and shop management software
- Valid driver’s license
Employment Details:
- Schedule: Full-time including some Saturdays
