Job Summary

We are a small 3 technician automotive service and repair shop. Come join our automotive team as a Service Advisor, where your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will drive exceptional customer experiences. Your ability to communicate clearly, upsell effectively, and deliver outstanding customer service will help build lasting relationships and keep our service department running smoothly. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair recommendations clearly, providing detailed information about services and costs
- Coordinate with technicians to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion of work
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on customer needs, enhancing their vehicle’s performance and safety
- Handle cash transactions accurately,



including processing payments and issuing receipts
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and repair history
- Maintain a clean office space for customers and staff

Skills

- Proven dealership experience or automotive service background with mechanical experience preferred
- Fairly strong mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle issues and communicate effectively with technicians
- Excellent customer service skills to create a positive, skilled experience for clients
- Sales aptitude with the ability to upsell services confidently without pressure
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and common maintenance procedures
- Cash handling experience ensuring accuracy in financial transactions
- Effective communication skills to explain technical information clearly and build rapport with diverse customers
- Experience with Quickbooks and/or Government CVSE platform are valuable assets

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
