Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team, with an opportunity to grow into a manager position. In this role, you will be one of the primary points of contact for customers, keeping relationships with our vendors, keeping inventory updated, assigning tasks to our technicians, etc. Social media skills would be considered an asset, though not necessary. Subaru technical experience is also a major asset.

Duties

- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs required for vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and transactions.
- Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated on modification paths, and common issues with particular vehicles.

Experience

- Previous experience in an automotive repair setting is preferred.
- Strong background in customer service with a focus on building relationships.




- Mechanical knowledge is essential to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians.
- Experience with cash handling and sales processes is beneficial.
- Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus, particularly in understanding service workflows.
