We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, with the ability to diagnose issues accurately and provide effective solutions. Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs or maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment effectively to carry out repairs.
- Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during the repair process.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to automotive systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
- Experience working in a dealership environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment.
- Capability of performing heavy lifting when necessary during repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and diagnostic equipment used in automotive repair.
