We are searching for a highly experienced electrical engineer to oversee the design and development of critical systems for our manufacturing operations. As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will lead the electrical design process, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Mentoring junior staff and supporting testing and troubleshooting on the shop floor will also be part of your duties.

Key Responsibilities:



• Spearhead electrical systems design for manufacturing • Stamp and review electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Maintain compliance with Canadian Electrical Code and industry standards • Work closely with production teams for integrated design efforts • Conduct risk assessments and electrical load calculations

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required • Active P.Eng. license with 7–10 years of experience • Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and similar software • PLC/HMI programming experience preferred • Proven troubleshooting abilities in manufacturing contexts
