Canada is currently looking for an AVP Principal Risk Consultant – Energy to act as a senior PowerGen and Energy Risk Services Consultant within Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS), supporting the risk quality of Zurich’s Energy portfolio and key customer risk control programs. Reporting to the VP, Specialties and Retail, you will serve as both an Account Coordinator and Field Representative managing multiple complex Energy accounts. You will work closely with our underwriting partners to manage Zurich’s Energy portfolio risk quality, support selected customer risk control programs, coordinate and conduct site risk assessments, develop account analysis and coordinate stewardship meetings, all in accordance with Zurich global technical standards and recognized national/international codes.

Bachelor’s Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area related to Energy.
High School
Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area related to Energy.
Zurich Certified
Apprentice, including an Associate’s degree, and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area related to Energy.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Experience working in a team environment. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, or a related discipline.
Canadian Risk
Management (CRM) designation. Industry experience in the PowerGen and Energy sector. Account oversight experience as a Risk Services consultant with middle market or large customers across PowerGen and broader Energy lines of business. Capability to manage and coordinate PowerGen assessments for middle market and large customers with multiple locations.
