Position: AWS Connect – Bilingual Manual Tester

Duration: 2-month assignment with strong potential for renewal

About the Engagement

We are seeking the services of an experienced Bilingual Manual Tester (English/French) to support testing initiatives for cloud-based customer service and contact center solutions built on Amazon Connect (AWS Connect). The engagement involves validating functionality, usability, integrations, and end-to-end business processes while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

The successful consultant will bring strong manual testing expertise, hands-on Amazon Connect experience, excellent communication skills in both English and French, and experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Services to be Provided

- Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate Amazon Connect call flows, routing profiles, queues, IVR functionality, and customer interaction workflows.
- Test integrations between Amazon Connect and CRM, ticketing, telephony, and third-party applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and testing needs.
- Validate multilingual customer journeys in both English and French.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for quality and process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to testing standards, quality practices, and project requirements.

Expertise Required

- 5+ years of experience in manual software testing.
- Hands-on experience testing Amazon Connect (AWS Connect) – must have.
- Experience testing contact center or customer service platforms.




- Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience creating test cases, executing test scenarios, and documenting defects.
- Experience with functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience using defect management and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills

Nice to Have

- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, or DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of call center operations and omnichannel customer service environments.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Dynamics 365, Zendesk, or ServiceNow.
- Basic understanding of API testing using Postman.
- Exposure to test automation tools.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification.
- AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect Associate certification.
- ISTQB Foundation certification.

Significant

This is a business-to-business engagement. Consultants must represent an incorporated entity, hold a valid business number, maintain appropriate insurance, and invoice for services rendered.

This engagement is remote; the successful consultant must be able to work during Eastern Time (EST/ET) business hours.
