Duration: Till December 2026 (Transformation project with multiple workstreams. Initial assignment duration will depend on the stream assigned, with potential extensions and opportunities to support additional project phases.)

About this opportunity:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced AWS Connect Developer to join a large-scale Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) transformation initiative. This role will support the design, development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of Amazon Connect solutions that improve customer engagement, self-service capabilities, and agent experience. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, business analysts, product owners, developers, testers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure cloud-based contact center solutions.

This opportunity is ideal for a qualified with strong Amazon Connect expertise, AWS development experience, contact center knowledge, and a passion for digital transformation initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

- Design, develop, and implement contact center solutions utilizing Amazon Connect.
- Configure and maintain contact flows, queues, routing profiles, user access, and security settings.
- Develop and enhance IVR and self-service solutions using Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, and AWS Lambda.




- Build and support integrations between Amazon Connect and enterprise platforms such as CRM, ERP, Workforce Management (WFM), and customer service applications.
- Develop REST APIs and middleware components to support contact center functionality and integrations.
- Configure intelligent routing strategies, chatbots, automation capabilities, and omnichannel customer experiences.
- Support cloud infrastructure deployment, configuration, and operational activities within AWS environments.
- Participate in migration, deployment, testing, and cutover activities for contact center transformation projects.
- Monitor system health and performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Implement security controls and support compliance with organizational security standards and PCI requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
- Support testing activities, defect resolution, production deployments, and release management processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, implementation guides, and operational procedures.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Must Have

- Undergraduate degree, diploma, technical certification, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience developing, implementing, and supporting Amazon Connect solutions.




- Strong experience working with AWS cloud technologies and services.

Hands-on experience with:

- Amazon Connect

Nice to Have

- Experience supporting Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) transformation programs.
- Experience with conversational AI, chatbots, Agentic AI, or voice automation solutions.
- Experience integrating Amazon Connect with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or ServiceNow.
- Experience with Workforce Management (WFM) and Quality Management (QM) solutions.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks.
- Experience with CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
- Knowledge of AWS security and PCI compliance requirements.
- Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset.

AWS certifications including:

- AWS Certified Developer – Associate
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Amazon Connect specialty-related experience or certifications
