We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Developer with 10–12+ years of software development experience and strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable applications and cloud solutions on AWS.
The ideal candidate should have solid experience in AWS application development, serverless technologies, APIs, Python/Java, event-driven architectures, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and production-grade cloud applications.
Required Skills
- 10–12+ years of experience in Software/Application Development.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- AWS Lambda
- Amazon API Gateway
- Amazon S3
- Amazon DynamoDB
- Amazon SQS / SNS
- Amazon Kinesis and/or Apache Kafka
- AWS Step Functions
- Amazon EventBridge
- AWS Glue – familiarity with data integration is an asset
- CloudWatch
- IAM
- Strong programming experience with Python and/or Java.
- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience building serverless and event-driven applications on AWS.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS CDK or Terraform.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Git-based source control and automated build/deployment processes.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, networking, and AWS best practices.
- Experience designing, developing, troubleshooting,
and supporting production-grade AWS applications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Experience developing real-time and event-driven applications.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Familiarity with AWS ECS/EKS.
- Experience with AWS Step Functions, EventBridge, and Event-driven architectures.
- Experience implementing observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch and related AWS services.
- Knowledge of secure software development practices and AWS Well-Architected principles.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- AWS Certifications are an asset.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-native applications and services using AWS.
- Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Build REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven applications.
- Develop integrations using SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Kinesis/Kafka, and other AWS services.
- Design and implement data persistence solutions using DynamoDB, RDS, and other databases.
- Develop reusable and maintainable Python/Java applications and services.
- Implement infrastructure using AWS CDK or Terraform.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
- Implement appropriate logging, monitoring, alerting, and application observability.
- Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, performance, and production issues.
- Ensure solutions meet security, reliability, scalability, and performance requirements.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise cloud solutions.
- Provide production support and continuously improve existing AWS applications and services.
