Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable AZ/DZ Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. We are looking for hard working, self-motivated employees with a proven safety record to fill our AZ/DZ Driver positions. We haul aggregate products in tri-axle and pup, tractor and live bottom, and tri-axle and dump trucks. All our equipment is new 2026/2027 Western Star fleet, and we service our Windsor/Essex, Chatham/Lambton and Sarnia locations.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial vehicles with AZ or DZ licenses to transport aggregate goods.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate delivery E- logs, freight documentation, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and potential issues
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities




- Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
- Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts from Monday-Friday, and the odd weekend if ever needed.

Skills

- Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securement techniques
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Excellent English communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Clean Abstract and CVOR
- Minimum 3 year AZ/DZ heavy trucking verifiable experience
- Can be subjected to drug-test

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
