Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable AZ/DZ Dump Truck Driver/Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials across various sites, ensuring safe and efficient delivery. You will also assist with general labour tasks, supporting site operations and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Duties

- Safely operate AZ or DZ class dump trucks to haul materials such as gravel, dirt, or debris to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Assist with loading and unloading freight using forklifts or other heavy machinery when necessary
- Support site operations by performing labour tasks including site cleanup, material handling, and assisting team members as needed
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to promote a secure work environment




- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance

Qualifications

- Valid AZ or DZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment in construction or mining environments
- Certification in forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or diagnostics on trucks and machinery
- Robust physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labour tasks consistently
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
