Job Title: Azure Administrator

Location: Ontario, Canada (Hybrid/ Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Azure Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure our Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing cloud environments, implementing infrastructure strategies, ensuring high availability, and managing resource deployment across our Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Provision, configure, and maintain Azure virtual machines, storage, virtual networks, and app services.
- Security & Identity: Implement and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), role-based access control (RBAC), conditional access, and identity management policies.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Track cloud system performance, automate routine tasks using PowerShell/CLI, and implement cost-optimization strategies.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Maintain Azure Backup and Site Recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex cloud infrastructure, connectivity,



and configuration issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Certification: Certified Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing and configuring Microsoft Azure environments.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Deep understanding of Azure Networking (VNets, ExpressRoute, VPNs, Load Balancers, NSGs).
- Hands-on experience with Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting using PowerShell or Azure CLI.
- Robust familiarity with Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a self-motivated mindset.

Work Location & Authorization

- Located in Ontario, Canada.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
