Duties

- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and quality standards
- Decorate cakes and desserts with precision using cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing products
- Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
- Package baked items carefully for display or customer purchase, ensuring freshness and presentation quality




- Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredients and supplies, and restocking as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about baked goods and offering recommendations when required

Experience

- Previous experience working in a bakery, restaurant, or food service environment is highly preferred
- Demonstrated skills in baking, food handling, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with cake decorating techniques and creative presentation styles
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations within the food industry setting
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Experience with food preparation, cooking processes, and packaging procedures is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude to engage positively with customers
