About Us

We are a high-volume bakery in North Vancouver producing fresh artisan breads and traditional flatbreads daily. Our operation is fast-paced and physically demanding, supplying large quantities of baked goods to customers and businesses.

We are looking for dependable team members to handle opening, finishing, and baking of breads — not dough preparation.

Position Overview

This role focuses on preparing pre-made doughs for baking and operating ovens to produce consistent, high-quality breads. You will score, load, bake, rotate, and unload products while maintaining strict production timelines.

Ideal candidates are fast, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working around hot ovens.

Key Responsibilities

- Open and set up bakery production area
- Prepare pre-made doughs for baking (scoring, shaping, finishing)
- Load and unload ovens safely and efficiently
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality
- Rotate trays and racks to ensure even baking
- Produce artisan loaves and flatbreads to company standards
- Meet daily production targets
- Assist with cooling, packaging,



and storage
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Work efficiently during peak production periods

Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Comfortable working near hot ovens for extended periods
- Physically able to stand for long hours
- Able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly
- Quick learner with strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow procedures
- Flexible availability (early mornings / weekends required)

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Previous bakery, kitchen, or food production experience
- Experience baking artisan breads or flatbreads
- Familiarity with commercial ovens or rack ovens
- Food Safe Level 1 certification
