We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our vibrant bakery team. In this role, you will support daily bakery operations, assist with food preparation, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and customer service. The Bakery

Assistant plays a vital role in creating delicious baked goods and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment.

HOURS - 9pm - 5am // 11:30pm– 7:30am

This is a nightly position

Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation including mixing, assembling, and baking various baked goods
- Decorate cakes and pastries with attention to detail and creativity
- Package baked items for sale or delivery, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and work areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support the team in stocking ingredients, supplies, and baking equipment
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service when interacting with bakery patrons




- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are upheld
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages or expired items

Skills

- Previous restaurant or bakery experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and baking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic kitchen experience including packaging and presentation of baked goods
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to health regulations
