Job Summary

Join our vibrant bakery team as a Bakery Assistant, where your enthusiasm and skills will help create delightful baked goods and provide exceptional customer service. In this role, you will support daily bakery operations, assist with food preparation, decorating, packaging, and ensure a clean, safe environment. Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation including mixing, baking, and boiling bagels.
- Glaze and decorate donuts using various techniques to meet quality standards.
- Fry donuts using our guidelines and standards
- Package baked items efficiently while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
- Prep glazes, syrups, toppings and fillings
- Support the kitchen team with food handling, cleaning, and maintaining a sanitary workspace.
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Maintain organization of ingredients, supplies,



and baking tools for smooth daily operations.

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food preparation, baking, and cake decorating techniques is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in customer service roles that involve engaging with customers positively.
- Kitchen experience involving food packaging and general cleanliness practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
