Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and productive Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. The position involves food handling, cash handling, and maintaining food safety standards to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of food items
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner,



providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
- Restock supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations throughout shifts

Skills

- Experience as a Barista or in food service preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
- Ability to serve food safely following all food safety regulations and standards
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
