The Opportunity

We are looking for a Banquet Bartender to join our events team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced workplace, working with people and being part of creating memorable events.

As a Banquet Bartender, you will be responsible for providing friendly, professional bar service at a variety of weddings, corporate events, private functions and Club events.

What You’ll Do

- Set up and prepare the bar area before events
- Serve beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests
- Prepare basic mixed drinks and cocktails
- Provide friendly, professional and attentive service throughout each event
- Check identification and follow responsible alcohol service practices
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow Club and Smart Choices policies
- Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked bar area




- Assist with bar tear down and clean up following events as required
- Communicate with the banquet team, kitchen and event managers to ensure smooth service

What We’re Looking For

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid Smart Choices certification required
- Previous bartending or banquet experience is an asset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Professional, friendly and approachable
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift/move bar supplies as required
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

Schedule Shifts vary from week to week depending on the Club’s event schedule. Banquet shifts may include evenings, weekends and holidays.

This is an event-based position, making it a great fit for someone looking for flexible hours and enjoys the variety that comes with working at weddings, corporate events and private functions.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
