In this vital role, you will assist in preparing high-quality food for large-scale events, ensuring all banquet dishes meet our standards for taste, presentation, and safety. Responsibilities

- Assist in food preparation for banquet events, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure readiness for service
- Follow established recipes and food safety guidelines to prepare a variety of dishes efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, adhering to sanitation standards at all times
- Support cooking processes by operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and food processors under supervision
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to prevent cross-contamination and ensure guest safety




- Collaborate with the culinary team to meet deadlines and deliver consistent quality during busy event setups
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations during banquet service

Qualifications

- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a focus on food preparation or cooking preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
- Experience with meal preparation and food industry standards is highly desirable
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff during large events
- Basic understanding of serving etiquette and food presentation techniques
