Responsibilities

As a Men's Barber / Hairstylist at Iconic Cuts, your responsibilities will include:

- Perform high-quality men's haircuts, including fades, skin fades, tapers, low/mid/high fades, scissor cuts, textured cuts, and modern men's hairstyles.
- Perform beard trims, beard shaping, line-ups, and other men's grooming services.
- Provide hot towel shaves and traditional grooming services when qualified.
- Consult with clients before each service to understand their desired haircut, style, and grooming preferences.
- Make professional recommendations based on the client's hair type, face shape, lifestyle, and personal style.
- Deliver consistent, clean, and detailed work while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Provide friendly, professional, and personalized customer service to every client.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and encourage repeat visits.
- Create a welcoming and positive experience from the moment clients enter the shop until they leave.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the day.
- Follow proper sanitation and hygiene procedures for tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Maintain professional standards of appearance and conduct while representing Iconic Cuts.
- Stay current with modern men's haircut trends, barbering techniques, styling techniques, and grooming trends.
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality, attention to detail,



and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other barbers and team members to maintain a positive, respectful, and professional shop environment.
- Assist with maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the shop when required.
- Recommend appropriate grooming and styling products when beneficial to the client's needs.
- Handle walk-in clients and scheduled appointments professionally.

Qualifications & Requirements The successful candidate should have:
- Previous professional experience as a barber, men's hairstylist, or similar role.
- Strong technical skills in men's haircutting and grooming.
- Excellent skills in fades, tapers, scissor cuts, line-ups, beard trims, and modern men's hairstyles.
- Experience working with different hair types and textures.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to make clients feel comfortable and welcomed.
- The ability to listen carefully to clients and understand their desired style.
- Professional appearance and personal presentation.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently while also being a positive team member.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced barbershop environment while maintaining quality.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by the business.
