Duties
- Provide professional hair cutting, styling, trimming, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or products.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas after each client.
- Engage with clients through friendly communication, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
- Assist in retail sales by recommending hair care products and upselling additional services to enhance client satisfaction.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling check-in/check-out procedures.
- Keep detailed records of client preferences,
service history, and retail transactions for personalized future visits.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, or related beauty services with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and professionally.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safe handling of tools and chemicals.
- Strong communication skills to clearly discuss styles, products, and service options with clients.
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining genuine client relationships.
- Experience working at a front desk or handling appointment scheduling is preferred.
- A valid cosmetology or barber license as required by local regulations.
