Barista / All rounder (Front Counter Team Member)

Noble Berry Dessert & Kitchen Studio is a boutique dessert and kitchen studio in Cadboro Bay Village. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and experienced Barista / Front Counter Team Member to join our small team.

The ideal candidate must have previous barista or café experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee, tea, lemonades, smoothies, and other specialty drinks according to our standards.

Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide friendly and professional service.

Operate the POS system and handle payments accurately.

Pack desserts, pastries, sandwiches, salads, and takeaway items with care.

Assist with light front-counter tasks, including packaging, labelling, and restocking

Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, customer area, display area, and workstations.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.

Work efficiently during busy periods while keeping a calm and friendly attitude.





Help create a beautiful, organized, and welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Requirements

Previous barista or café experience is required

Experience preparing espresso-based drinks is required.

Strong customer service skills and a friendly personality.

Reliable, punctual, and organized.

Comfortable using a POS system and handling payments.

Basic knowledge of food safety and cleanliness standards.

Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Interest in coffee, desserts, pastries, and hospitality is an asset.

Schedule

Pay

Starting wage: $21–$23 per hour + tips, depending on experience.
