(Permanent Part-Time Barista Position)

Our family-run café has proudly served the community for 26 years. At TEAM Bullet, we take pride in maintaining a friendly, clean, welcoming environment and working together as a small but outstanding team that genuinely loves what we do.
We are currently seeking 1 friendly, dedicated, motivated, hardworking Barista to join our team in a permanent part-time position.
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous barista experience preferred
- A flexible and very reliable schedule
- The ability to occasionally assist with last-minute shift coverage
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
This position will primarily involve weekday shifts, with some weekend coverage when needed. Hours: Approximately 10–20+ hours per week
(Hours may vary depending on TEAM and in-shop requirements.)
Job Responsibilities
As part of TEAM Bullet, responsibilities include:
- Providing outstanding, friendly, kind, and outgoing customer service
- Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Working collaboratively as a respectful and dependable team player
- Cash handling and POS operation
- Performing front and back-of-shop duties, including coffee preparation and food prep
- Following the opening and closing procedures thoroughly
- Maintaining a clean, organized, efficient, and well-stocked café
- Assisting with food and beverage inventory
- Ensuring Bullet recipes and quality standards are consistently maintained
- Helping uphold the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the café
Tips: Customer tips are never expected, but always appreciated. Tips are shared equally among TEAM members working the same shift and are paid out daily in cash.
Candidate Qualifications
Applicants must
- Be available for weekday morning and/or afternoon shifts, as well as weekends
- Be able to start as early as 7:00am and work as late as 5:30pm
- Be friendly, outgoing, and welcoming with all patrons
- Have knowledge of food safety practices
- Be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
- Possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Be comfortable standing for the majority of a shift
- Routinely lift and move boxes/equipment up to 50 lbs
- Have fluent verbal and written English communication skills
- Be knowledgeable about our café and genuinely embody the vibe that makes it special
- Truly enjoy working as a Barista — life is too short not to enjoy what you do

Schedule
- 4–8 hour shifts

Compensation Pay: $15.00–$15.50 per hour
Expected Hours: 10–20+ per week
Experience
- Barista experience preferred (1+ year ideal)
- However, we value personality, motivation, reliability, and passion for customer service just as much
Preferred but not required:
- Food Safety Certification
- Baking experience
