Duties

- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling responsibilities with integrity and accuracy.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including food preparation zones, counters, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with serving and food preparation is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for smooth transaction processing.
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing register operations accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours efficiently.
