- ( Weekend Job mostly Saturday) We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-oriented and Experienced Barista to join our team for the summer season at the Port Credit and Lakeview farmers markets. Hours are typically from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Shift hours are between 5 to 7 hours depends of the day of the market
Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for crafting coffee beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining an organized workspace.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following quality standards.
- Greet customers and process orders accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the coffee station and service area.
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed.
- Manage time effectively during peak hours.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience is preferred,
- Solid cashiering and basic math skills.
- Knowledge of specialty coffee.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Access to a vehicle is preferable.
