Barista - Team Lead A Team Lead must be competent in all areas of café operation and have a Food Handler’s Certification to hold the position.

The Team

Lead’s main responsibilities are to assist management with the smooth running of Tribeca Coffee Co., delegate task assignments to staff, open & close the shop, and ensure the till is balanced according to sales and inventory.

Job Duties

- Make and serve specialty coffee and tea beverages

- Calibration of espresso coffee machine and grinder

- Clean coffee machines and work area

- Bus tables as necessary and routinely clean washrooms

- Take customer food orders, prepare food, and re-stock display cases and fridges

- Demonstrate exemplary menu & product knowledge





- Maintain coffee knowledge on current roasters and confidently and accurately communicate product information to our patrons

- Speak and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional face to face customer service

- Follow health and safety guidelines

- Adhere to recipes and presentations for our food and beverage items

- Assist customers with purchase needs and inquiries

- Accept/process customer payments for purchases

Pay: $18.50-$18.60 per hour
