Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Prepare and pour alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling, serving, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management skills
- Uphold food safety regulations and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
- Engage with guests professionally,
providing friendly service that promotes a positive hospitality experience
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality experience is highly valued; personable demeanor is essential for guest engagement
- Must be at least 18 years old or older, depending on local regulations
- Smart Serve license required
