About Bibi’s Bistro

Located in downtown St. John’s, Bibi’s Bistro offers a vibrant, welcoming space known for exceptional food, warm hospitality, and thoughtful beverage offerings. We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused Bartender / Server to join our front-of-house team.

Key Responsibilities

- Guest Experience: Greet guests warmly, present menus, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Bar Operations: Prepare classic and signature cocktails, pour draft/bottled beer, serve wine, and manage bar prep efficiently during high-volume service.
- Service Execution: Deliver orders promptly, maintain clean dining and bar areas, perform regular check-backs, and manage tables with attention to detail.
- POS & Payments: Process bills and handle payment transactions smoothly via POS systems.




- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Compliance: Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and strict adherence to provincial alcohol service regulations.

Qualifications
- Experience: Experience is considered an asset but not mandatory. Must be willing to train.
- Legal Age: Must be 19+ years of age to serve alcohol.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beer spirits; ability to multitask calmly under pressure.
- Availability: Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attributes: Punctual, reliable, energetic, with excellent communication skills.
