Azarias is looking for an experienced, energetic Bartender / Server to join our front-of-house team. We are a busy, well-established neighbourhood restaurant known for elevated tapas, handcrafted cocktails, excellent wine, and warm, professional service.

This hybrid position is ideal for someone who is equally confident preparing drinks behind the bar and providing polished table service. The hourly wage is Ontario minimum wage, with very strong tip-earning potential based on sales, shifts worked, and performance.

Responsibilities

- Prepare cocktails, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide attentive and knowledgeable service to guests at the bar and tables
- Offer confident recommendations from our food, cocktail, and wine menus
- Accurately enter orders and process payments
- Set up, stock, clean, and close the bar
- Monitor inventory and advise management when products are running low
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
- Follow Smart Serve requirements and all responsible alcohol-service practices
- Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management during busy services

Qualifications
- Previous bartending and serving experience in a busy restaurant
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
- Current Smart Serve certification
- Excellent communication and guest-service skills
- Able to multitask and remain composed during high-volume service
- Reliable, professional, punctual, and team-oriented




- Comfortable carrying trays and remaining on your feet throughout a shift
- Experience in an upscale, fine-dining, or high-volume restaurant is an asset
- Adaptable evening and weekend availability is required
