Responsibilities

- Take accurate orders from guests, ensuring clear communication of menu items and specials
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, cider, and soft drinks
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Square POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, addressing questions, and accommodating special requests
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently
- Follow proper food handling procedures and uphold food safety regulations at all times
- Bar inventory

Qualifications





- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Familiarity with POS systems like Square POS or similar cash handling technology
- Solid customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cashiering, making change, and processing orders accurately
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or drink orders simultaneously
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding alcohol laws is a plus
- Serving it right certification from British Columbia
