Take the lead as BCIT’s temporary Payroll Manager, responsible for managing payroll operations and ensuring compliance with all regulations. Drive accuracy and support team development in this full time role. You will work under the Controller, managing payroll processes while developing strategies that align with departmental goals.
Your six-plus years of experience in payroll management will be utilized to verify transactions and manage stakeholder communications. Additionally, you will oversee year-end reporting and enhance payroll practices across the Institute. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead payroll operations and strategy implementation
- Verify complex payroll processes and transactions
- Ensure compliance with tax reporting requirements
- Liaise with internal/external stakeholders effectively
- Collaborate on payroll system enhancements
Requirements:
- Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) or Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) required
- 6 years of progressive payroll experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Effective team leadership capabilities
- Proficiency in standard office applications
