Role Description The Beauty Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Canada, focused on delivering exceptional customer service in the beauty department. This position involves welcoming customers, assessing their needs, and providing personalized recommendations on skincare, cosmetics, fragrances, and related products.

The Beauty

Specialist maintains product displays, ensures the cleanliness and organization of the beauty section, and supports merchandising and promotional activities. Daily tasks include demonstrating products, offering makeup or skincare consultations,



and staying informed about new brands, trends, and product features. The role also involves processing transactions, meeting sales targets, and collaborating with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive shopping experience.

Qualifications

- Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and provide clear, friendly guidance.
- Knowledge of beauty, skincare, cosmetics, and fragrance products, including basic application techniques and current trends.
- Sales and merchandising abilities, such as product recommendation, upselling, and maintaining attractive, well-stocked displays.
- Organization and attention to detail, including accurate cash handling, inventory awareness, and cleanliness of the work area.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced retail environment, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Solid teamwork and collaboration skills, with a respectful and inclusive approach to colleagues and customers.
- Previous experience in retail, beauty, or customer-facing roles is an asset.
- Comfort with basic point-of-sale systems and willingness to learn company procedures and product lines.
