Oversee heavy civil construction operations in Sparwood, BC with Jim Dent Construction. We are seeking a Superintendent with a commitment to safety, efficiency, and high-quality standards.
In this role, you will be instrumental in managing field operations on active projects located in Sparwood and Elkford. Your experience in heavy civil construction will help you effectively coordinate site activities and motivate teams. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential as you navigate project challenges and ensure compliance with safety regulations throughout the construction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate heavy civil construction activities effectively
• Direct daily site operations and decisions




• Create and manage project schedules
• Lead and engage field crews efficiently
• Attend and participate in project coordination meetings
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
• Mine Supervisor certification is a plus
• Solid understanding of safety and environmental regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills in critical situations
