Position Overview

D. Floyd Construction is seeking skilled Bobcat Operators to join our agile team. This position will include year-round work, and an opportunity to make an impact on some of Calgary's most meaningful projects!

Key Responsibilities

- Operating company equipment (skid steers, excavators)
- Drilling holes for fence installation
- Grading fence lines for fence installation
- Work closely with team members to achieve organizational goals
- Follow safety protocols, including completing daily safety paperwork, and maintain a clean, and organized job site
- Complete routine maintenance on machines as necessary
- Show up on time and ready for work
- Assist with other duties as required

Experience & Skills

- Prior experience operating equipment – min. 2 years required.
- Previous experience in driving truck and trailer – min. 2 years required.
- Drilling/Auguring holes – min. 1 year required.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn
- Follow company safety protocols on all sites




- Clean Drivers License is required. Applicants may be asked to provide an abstract.

Pay and Advantages

- Competitive hourly rate of $26.00-$30.00 per hour, based on experience
- Overtime pay available for additional hours worked

Schedule

- 8 hour to 10 hour shifts, Monday to Friday (7:30-4:30)
- Weekend work may be necessary due to the nature of the work
- 12 months per year – we work throughout winter!
