Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations regularly to verify account balances and identify discrepancies.
- Conduct account analysis to monitor financial transactions and ensure data integrity.
- Prepare detailed reports on account reconciliation, cash flow, and budget performance for management review.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accuracy in employee compensation.




- Support month-end closing activities by verifying ledger entries and preparing necessary documentation.

Requirements

- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and related compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze accounts critically.
- Ability to perform account reconciliation and account analysis efficiently.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting standards.
- Prior experience working in transportation or trucking industry accounting is a plus but not required.
