Breakfast Restaurant Team Member – Day Shift

Schedule: Tuesday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

A family-owned restaurant in Newmarket looking for a reliable and experienced Restaurant Team Member to join our weekday team.

This position requires regular availability from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. These are the hours we are specifically hiring for. This is not an evening position and we are not currently looking for applicants who are only available after school, after 3:00 p.m., or in the evenings. Please apply only if you can consistently work the required weekday schedule.

About the Position

This is an all-around restaurant position, not strictly a serving job. You will work both front-of-house and help with the day-to-day operation of the restaurant. We are a small, family-owned restaurant, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable helping wherever needed.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take customer orders and serve food and beverages
- Operate the POS system and process payments




- Explicit, clean and reset tables
- Assist with basic food preparation
- Help kitchen staff when required
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Restock supplies
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and work areas
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Support other team members as needed

What We're Looking For

- Previous restaurant or food-service experience is strongly preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and comfortable dealing with customers
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Comfortable performing serving, kitchen support, dishwashing and cleaning duties
- Able to multitask during busy periods
- Able to reliably commute to our Newmarket location
- Must be consistently available Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Compensation $17.60 per hour + tips Pay: $17.60 per hour
