Responsibilities

- Assist bricklayers and masons by preparing materials, mixing mortar, and handling hand tools to support productive workflow
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to facilitate construction activities and site preparation
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to understand project requirements
- Support renovation and restoration projects by preparing surfaces, cleaning work areas, and applying caulking as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Help with the setup and breakdown of scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures




- Follow instructions diligently to ensure precision in masonry tasks and adherence to project timelines

Requirements

- Prior construction experience or familiarity with masonry work is highly desirable
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with renovation or restoration projects enhances your suitability for this role
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and schematic interpretation is beneficial
- Willingness to learn new skills related to construction processes and safety standards
