Part-Time Budtender

Cannabis Corner – Kelowna, BC

Cannabis Corner Kelowna is looking for a reliable, friendly and motivated Part-Time Budtender to join our team.

This is a part-time position, with the regular schedule expected to average approximately 3 shifts per week.

Initial Training Schedule — Required Availability

Due to our current staffing schedule, the initial training shifts for this position are already set. Applicants must be available to work all of the following shifts:

- Sunday, August 23: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Wednesday, August 26: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday, August 28: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Saturday, August 29: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Sunday, August 30: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Tuesday, September 1: 3:30 PM – 10:30 PM
- Wednesday, September 2: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
- Saturday, September 5: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

These initial training shifts are required and cannot be changed or moved to alternate dates. Please review the schedule carefully before applying to make sure you can commit to all eight shifts. Following this initial period, the position will transition to a more typical part-time schedule of approximately 3 shifts per week, based on store needs and employee availability.

Responsibilities

- Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service
- Assisting customers with cannabis product selection
- Operating the POS system and handling cash accurately
- Receiving, stocking and organizing products
- Maintaining clean and organized sales and back-room areas




- Following all provincial cannabis regulations and store policies
- Completing daily cleaning and operational duties
- Working cooperatively with the rest of the team

What We're Looking For

- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn about cannabis products and regulations
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks without constant supervision
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Retail or cannabis experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person
- Must love pets! We have a resident store cat, store fish, and some pretty regular dog co-workers. Animals are part of our everyday store environment, so applicants need to be comfortable working around them.

Applicants must meet all provincial requirements for working in a licensed cannabis retail store, including having or obtaining a valid Selling It Right certification & a Valid Drivers License
