Role Description The Bus Marshall role is an in office position located in Hamilton, ON.

The Bus

Marshall is responsible for safely guiding buses to designated loading and unloading areas, directing passenger flow, and ensuring orderly boarding and disembarkation. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring schedules, coordinating with drivers and airport staff, providing clear instructions to passengers, and responding to inquiries or minor issues in a courteous manner. The role also involves observing safety protocols, reporting any hazards or operational concerns,



and supporting efficient traffic movement around bus zones.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is expected to support continuous airport operations.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills to interact clearly and respectfully with passengers, drivers, and airport staff.
- Ability to manage crowds, maintain orderly queues, and give concise directions in busy, time-sensitive environments.
- Knowledge of basic safety practices and situational awareness to identify and report potential hazards or incidents promptly.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the capacity to work on your feet for extended periods in outdoor or varying weather conditions.
- Experience in transportation, aviation, hospitality, or related service roles is an asset.
- Basic problem-solving skills and calm demeanor when handling passenger concerns or operational changes.
- Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekend
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional training in safety or customer service is beneficial.
