Job Summary

Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, expanding PhoneBox customer and distribution channels, and supporting revenue growth across Canadian and international markets. The position works closely with prospective and existing partners to understand their needs and develop appropriate telecommunications solutions, and establish long-term business relationships.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Identify, research, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities that support PhoneBox, sales, customer acquisition, and revenue growth objectives.

 Prospect and generate current business leads through outbound outreach, referrals, industry research, networking, conferences, trade shows, and other business development activities.

 Identify and approach prospective business partners, including educational institutions, international student organizations, travel and immigration-related organizations, agencies, corporate clients, distributors, and other potential sales channels.

 Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, business partners, distributors, and other stakeholders.

 Conduct market research to identify industry trends, emerging markets, competitor activities, customer needs, and new partnership opportunities.

 Develop a strong understanding of PhoneBox, wireless, internet, eSIM, and other telecommunications products and clearly communicate their features, pricing, benefits, and value propositions to prospective partners and customers.

 Assess prospective partners; business requirements and recommend appropriate PhoneBox products, services, promotions, and partnership models.

 Prepare and deliver sales presentations, business proposals, quotations, partnership packages, and other sales materials to prospective clients and partners.

 Conduct sales meetings, product demonstrations, presentations, and follow-up communications with prospective clients and business partners.

 Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, promotional arrangements, commissions, and other business conditions within established company guidelines.





 Coordinate the preparation and execution of partnership agreements and related documentation in collaboration with management and other appropriate departments.

 Maintain an active sales pipeline and systematically follow up with prospects throughout the sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation, closing, onboarding, and account development.

 Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, prospects, opportunities, communications, agreements, and sales activities within the company CRM and other business systems.

 Establish and monitor sales objectives, lead activity, conversion rates, partnership performance, and other relevant sales performance indicators.

 Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, pipeline updates, and business development activity reports for management.

 Work closely with marketing teams to develop campaigns, promotional materials, and lead-generation strategies that support business development objectives.

 Collaborate with customer care, operations, marketing, finance, and technical teams to ensure new clients and partners are successfully onboarded and supported.

 Coordinate the implementation and launch of newly established partnerships, including internal communication, timelines, promotional requirements, operational processes, and partner onboarding. Monitor the performance of existing partnerships and identify opportunities to increase sales, improve engagement, expand distribution, or introduce additional PhoneBox products and services.

 Maintain regular communication with existing partners to understand their needs, address business concerns, and identify opportunities for account growth and relationship development.

 Research and evaluate opportunities to expand PhoneBox into new geographic markets, customer segments, distribution channels, and strategic partnerships.

 Represent PhoneBox at domestic and international industry events,



conferences, trade shows, networking events, and business meetings as required.

 Stay informed about telecommunications industry developments, competitor offerings, pricing trends, market conditions, and changes affecting PhoneBox target customer segments.

 Perform other sales and business development activities reasonably required to support the company growth objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

 Post-secondary education in business administration, marketing, sales, communications, international business, or a related field.

 Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, partnership development, telecommunications, or another related customer-facing business environment is an asset.

 Strong sales, prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

 Ability to identify business opportunities and develop prospective leads into long-term commercial relationships.

 Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; French or additional languages are considered an asset.

 Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate business proposals and product value propositions effectively.

 Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects, accounts, and business opportunities simultaneously.

 Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate markets, partnership opportunities, and commercial requirements.

 Familiarity with CRM systems, sales pipeline management, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and other business productivity tools.

 Ability to work independently, take initiative, and consistently follow up on business opportunities.

 Strong interpersonal skills and intercultural awareness when working with clients, partners, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

 Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business meetings, conferences, and trade shows when required.

 Flexibility with work schedules to accommodate clients, partners, and business opportunities across different time zones.

Pay: $3,700.00-$5,000.00 per month
