Business Intelligence (BI) Developer/Analyst - PySpark, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Azure, Databricks

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer/Analyst for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Intelligence (BI) Developer/Analyst - :

The project involves a data migration initiative, focusing on leading the technical aspects from inception to deployment. This role includes participating in analysis and system design specification sessions and documenting design options and solutions according to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.

Business Intelligence (BI) Developer/Analyst - Responsibilities:

- Lead technical aspects of the data migration project
- Participate in analysis and system design specification sessions
- Document design options and solutions according to SDLC methodology
- Work on data migration projects and ensure successful deployment
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals

Business Intelligence (BI) Developer/Analyst - Mandatory Skills:





- 7-10 years of experience with Cloud environments (MS Azure), Data Management, and Analytics
- 7-10 years of experience with PySpark, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI
- Experience analyzing large data sets and communicating outputs
- Proficient in reading and comprehending data schemas and technical documentation
- 7-10 years of experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, and Synapse

Business Intelligence (BI) Developer/Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Banking experience
- Project Management experience
- Experience with Data/Text Mining, Optimization, and Algorithm Development
- Experience with Automation and Data Visualization
- Experience developing dashboards

Business Intelligence (BI) Developer/Analyst – Assignment Length:

This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and business needs.
