Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate, production-ready cabinetry designs and drawings while working closely with customers, sales staff, project managers, and our manufacturing team.

This position requires strong experience with both Cabinet Vision and AutoCAD. Experience designing cabinetry for dental, medical, or other commercial environments is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

- Create detailed cabinetry layouts, shop drawings, elevations, and production drawings using Cabinet Vision and AutoCAD
- Develop designs based on architectural drawings, site measurements, customer requirements, and project specifications
- Prepare accurate, production-ready Cabinet Vision files for manufacturing
- Review architectural and equipment drawings to ensure cabinetry integrates properly with the space
- Coordinate appliance, plumbing, electrical, equipment, and countertop requirements
- Work closely with sales, project management, production, and installation teams
- Review drawings for accuracy before they are released for production




- Make revisions based on customer, contractor, architect, or site requirements
- Assist with material selections, hardware specifications, and construction details
- Help identify potential design or installation issues before production begins
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, project details, and sales activities

Experience

- Previous Cabinet Vision experience is required
- Previous AutoCAD experience is required
- Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, Etc)
- Experience designing custom commercial or residential cabinetry/millwork
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction and manufacturing methods
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
