The Cafe Worker is responsible for operating and maintaining the onsite café, enforcing cleaning and safety standards, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The position also plays a key role in advocating and supporting alumni activities. The ideal Candidate will have lived experience in some capacity in the addiction/mental health treatment community.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Motivate staff to execute an exceptional level of service leading to a direct increase in loyal, repeat customers.
- Managing day-to-day operations of the cafe
- Nurture friendly relationships with staff, clients, and alumni to increase use of cafe

Qualifications:
- Previous work experience as a cafe worker or barista considered an asset
- Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines an asset
- Availability to work within opening hours (including weekends and holidays)




- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- High school diploma
