Responsibilities

- Assemble cakes according to specific recipes and design specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Decorate cakes with icing, fondant, toppings, and other embellishments using cake decorating techniques.
- Prepare ingredients and perform food preparation tasks in line with food safety standards.
- Package finished cakes carefully to prevent damage during transportation or display.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including kitchen equipment and tools.




- Follow all food handling protocols to ensure safety and hygiene are upheld at all times.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies of ingredients, decorations, and packaging materials.

Experience

- Previous experience in cake decorating or bakery environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation, baking processes, and kitchen safety regulations.
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills to engage with clients or team members positively.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and proper sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
