Become part of the Child and Youth Mental Health team in Timmins as a Registered Clinician. This full time role involves providing psychotherapy and counseling to children and adolescents.
As a crucial member of the Child and Youth Mental Health team, the Registered Clinician will deliver psychotherapy, clinical assessments, and support for identified behavioral and emotional issues. Ideal candidates will possess innovative and resourceful qualities, thriving in a multi-disciplinary environment. The focus remains on improving the mental health of children and adolescents up to eighteen years of age.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling sessions for youth • Conduct clinical assessments to identify needs • Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team • Support family systems involved in treatment • Engage innovatively with youth and families
Requirements: • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology preferred • Registration with relevant Ontario colleges required • Clinical expertise in children's mental health • Bilingual in English and French mandatory • Valid G driver's license and vehicle access required
