Take on the role of Cross-Border Payroll Specialist with Humans of HR in Vancouver, where you’ll manage payroll for employees in Canada and across several U.S. states. This role combines detail-oriented payroll processing with benefits support.
As a key member of the People team, you will report to the Payroll & Benefits Manager. You’ll be responsible for full-cycle payroll duties, covering both salaried and hourly employees. If you are experienced in Canadian payroll but new to U.S. compliance, this position offers training and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer comprehensive payroll for Canadian and U.S. staff
• Check timesheet information prior to processing payroll
• Maintain and update employee pay records accurately




• Manage statutory deductions for Canadian provinces
• Assist with payroll audits and system updates
Requirements:
• A few years of payroll experience, particularly in Canada
• Exposure to U.S. payroll is an asset
• Proficiency in payroll software and time-tracking tools
• Detail-focused and trustworthy with confidential information
• Capable of managing multiple deadlines
