This full-time position within TransAlta’s Corporate Development team will involve performing comprehensive research and financial analyses.

You will focus on evaluating strategic growth opportunities, including early-stage projects and M&A; ventures, ensuring that investment decisions are well-informed and impactful. Collaboration is key as you will work with various departments to drive TransAlta's vision. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide financial analysis for business development projects
- Ensure accuracy of inputs in financial models
- Assess implications of investment decisions
- Perform detailed ad hoc analyses and research

- Minimum 3-5 years in strategy or financial analysis
