As a Journeyperson, you will manage repairs on heavy machinery, including CAT and Komatsu. This position requires excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to operate with minimal supervision. Your responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance, evaluating equipment, and leading apprentices in their development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain heavy machinery including haul trucks
• Perform detailed inspections and diagnostics
• Conduct preventative maintenance procedures
• Develop repair scopes and schedules
• Ensure adherence to NACG safety procedures
Requirements:
• At least 2 years experience as a certified equipment technician
• Valid Alberta or interprovincial certification
• Robust communication and leadership abilities
• Exposure to safety-sensitive work environments
• Knowledge of CAT SIS systems is beneficial
